How to get to Panglao Island, Bohol:

to get to Panglao Island, you need to book a flight to Bohol via Tagbilaran Airport.

The best way to get to Panglao from Tagbilaran City is by taxi where the usual metered fare is doubled (to compensate for the no passenger return trip to the city) and around PhP350.00 (as of November 2008) with travel time of 30 minutes.

No information on the cheapest Bohol Beach Resort in Panglao's Alona Beach (where most tourists prefer beach fronts that more pricey). In order to get the cheapest Bohol package, try looking for large family rooms for the whole family to share beyond three persons. Please contact the resorts or visit their official websites for rates, discounts, booking reservations and other information. Reviews of Bohol Beach Resorts will be posted once available.

Nothing extraordinary to say about Alona Kew hotel, except that its beach front has the best quality of sand, a portion of it (sometime between the high and low tides) is very smooth, like boracay sand.

Bohol atmosphere is like Boracay of the early 1980s, relatively quiet and fresh

Enjoy!
