New Mactan Cebu Airport Terminal Fee

The new Mactan Cebu International airport is a Public Private Partnership (PPP) project under Pnoy completed by Megawide (GMR-Megawide Cebu Airport Corporation (GMCAC)). As with all partnerships and improvements, there is a corresponding price to be paid for new amenities and resort-like ambiance for the private company to recoup their investment
Note that in other countries, the terminal fee/departure tax is included in the airline tickets but not in the Philippines due to exemptions to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) that's why you need to pay separate fees for terminal fee and travel tax (PhP1,620.00 for international economy class airline tickets)

How to Avoid Manila Airport Taxi Scams (Plus Other Travel Tips)

If you've heard, seen, read about it, there are numerous scams perpetuated by unscrupulous taxi drivers victimizing people in Manila airport (Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA)) from as simple as refusing to use the meter, charging exorbitant taxi fare, or even use of tampered taxi meters called batingting.
There are also three kinds of taxis in Manila airport: coupon taxis with fixed fare per destination, yellow airport taxis with fares almost double of regular taxis and the regular taxis that are usually the least trustworthy
Here are several ways to avoid Manila airport taxi scams:
1. Book Airport transfers to your hotel
Very easy but usually expensive, not for backpackers and budget travelers
2. Use your own car, a friend's car or hire one
Ask a friend/family to fetch you at the airport
Convenient but may be expensive and time consuming if your flight gets delayed
Drive yourself to the airport and use overnight parking in NAIA Terminal 1, NAIA Terminal 2, NAIA Terminal 3
or alternatively Park N Fly, so you'll have a ready transport from the airport.
3. Airport Transfers via NAIA Airport Loop (Formerly NAIA Shuttle Bus)
Served by two fleets, one by HM Transport with buses labeled HM Transport Airport Loop and the other using white buses emblazoned with Airport loop, the shuttle buses can transfer you to all
NAIA terminals 1, 2, 3, and 4 and also to Pasay/Taft/Rotonda if you want to take the bus or MRT and LRT-- the cheap way!
4. UBE Express Premium Bus
This premium bus service serves several fixed routes to Manila via Roxas Boulevard, Makati, Pasay/Rotonda/MRT/LRT, Pasay/Buendia/LRT and Entertainment City. Regular fare is PhP300 but offering promo of PhP150.00. This is a very good alternative if you want to avoid long taxi queues at the airport as you can book your trip in advance
This is also the same bus that can take you to Victory Liner bus terminal on EDSA, Five Star bus terminal in Pasay, and several Bus terminals in Pasay/Taft/LRT Buendia going to your destination.
5. Resorts World Manila Free Shuttle Service
If you hold a valid Resorts World membership card, you can hop in to their free shuttle of Resorts World at NAIA Terminal 3. It's easier to get an ordinary cab from there.
6. Citylink Bus to NAIA Terminal 3 to Eastwood City, Quezon City via C-5
Citylink bus serves the Newport City to Eastwood City route via C-5 to connect the two Megaworld projects. The bus passes by NAIA Terminal 3. Not available on Weekends though.
7. City buses from NAIA Terminals 1, 2, and 3
Ordinary (non-air-conditioned) and air-conditioned buses pass by the three terminals that can take you to various destinations in Metro Manila
8. Jeepneys in NAIA Terminal 3
These jeepneys ply the SM Mall of Asia or Baclaran -Nichols route. You can ride them near NAIA Terminal 3 if going to Nichols/Fort Bonifacion Gate 3 or across if you're going to Baclaran/Pasay/Taft/Rotonda/MRT/LRT area
9. Coupon Taxis
these are white-colored taxis with big luggage compartments. They charge fixed fee per destination and more expensive than ordinary taxis
10. Yellow Cab: the Yellow Airport Taxis
Colored taxis are dedication taxis for the airport with fares almost double the fare of ordinary taxis. Flag down rate is PhP70.00

UBE Express: NAIA Premium Bus Service (Fare and Schedule from Manila Airport)

Here's good news to passengers to/from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA or simply Manila Airport)), besides the yellow taxis, coupon taxis, and car rentals, you may now take the premium bus from NAIA Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
UBE Express Fleet: 6 units for interim service, 42 units for permanent service by June 2016
Premium bus fare: PhP300.00 (this is premium guys, not economy. you can catch city buses to EDSA from NAIA Terminals, 1, 2 and 3)
Routes:
1. Makati CBD Stops: Glorietta 4, Glorietta 5, Ascott Hotel.
2. Roxas Boulevard stops: Midas Hotel, Hotel Jen, Manila Hotel, Mall of Asia, and the Entertainment City
Per the official Press Release:
"Each bus can accommodate 24 passengers and has large compartments for baggage.
The premium bus is equipped with closed-circuit television cameras (CCTV), Global Positioning System (GPS), and an on-board Wi-Fi facility.
Passengers who wish to take the premium bus may approach the transportation desk personnel at the arrival curbside area for assistance. An automated fare collection system will also be developed in the future to provide the option for advanced online booking.
The premium bus service has an LTFRB-approved flat rate of P300.
The buses will be manned by trained drivers and an on-board transport attendant, similar to an airline flight attendant."
Are you interested in taking this premium bus service from the Aiport or only if you have no choice.

Manila Airport Coupon Taxi Rates vs Yellow Taxi Meter Fare at NAIA Terminal 1, 2, 3 & 4

Manila Airport coupon taxis are the most expensive taxi at NAIA but the shortest queue from the airport arrival area. The prepaid fare is usually around double the yellow airport taxi and about triple the ordinary metered taxi (if you can find one honest enough to charge you the meter)
These fare matrix table is the guide on how much is the taxi fare from Manila airport to various points in Metro Manila. These fares may change without prior notice but anything much more than this for yellow taxis and ordinary taxis are simply rip-offs.
Taxi Scams abound at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, It's a good thing Tutubi now has his own car (and on-call driver) to take, or fetch from, the airport if he's not using overnight parking
These rates are the same regardless of terminal: NAIA Terminal 1 (International arrival/departure flights), NAIA Terminal 2 (exclusive to Philippine Airlines), NAIA Terminal 3 (Cebu Pacific, PAL Express, some PAL domestic flights), and NAIA Terminal 4 (old Manila Domestic Aiport Terminal, used by AirAsia Zest, SeAir etc)

Cagayan de Oro: Laguindingan Airport Terminal Fee, How to Get There, Taxi, Bus Fare

The new Laguindingan Airport is not in Cagayan de Oro City unlike the old Lumbia Airport which it replaced. In fact, it's west of CDO where you need to budget at least an hour travel time to/from the airport.
Here's a guide how to get to Laguindingan Airport from Cagayan de Oro and vice versa.

From Laguindingan Airport to Cagayan de Oro:
From the airport arrival gate, public transporation is avilable by taking a PUV to the highway of Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental (PhP20.00 fare) On the highway, wait for buses plying the route Cagayan de Oro to Iligan City (24 hour bus service). The buses are available at Cagayan de Oro West-bound Terminal
There are available shuttle service vans from Laguindingan Aiport to Cagayan de Oro with fare PhP249.00/person
going to Centrio Mall on Corrales Street via Laguindingan Airport Express or via Magnum Express to/from Bulua Terminal. There are also vans inside CDO city proper going to the new airport particularly in the Divisoria and SM City Cagayan de Oro area.
Laguindingan airport taxi: seems many taxi drivers are beginning to behave like their "beastly brothers" in Manila. They will charge
you about PhP1,500.00 one way instead of using the meter.
Laguindingan Aiport terminal Fee:
PhP200.00 for domestic flights; PhP700.00 for international flights
the other towns of Misamis Oriental are Alubijid, Balingasag, Balingoan (where you can take the ferry to Camiguin), Binuangan, Claveria, Gitagum, Initao, Jasaan, Kinoguitan, Lagonglong, Laguindingan, Libertad, Lugait, Magsaysay, Manticao, Medina, Naawan, Opol, Salay, Sugbongcogon, Tagoloan, Talisayan and Villanueva

How to Get to NAIA Terminal 1 and 2: Map Bus Commute Route, Directions, Parking

A never-ending question how to get to NAIA Terminal 1 and NAIA Terminal 2 by public transportation, particularly commuting from EDSA by bus (yes, some people still prefer to take the slow bus) or the alternative way out of NAIA Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 if there are no airport taxi in sight.
The recommended option to get to Manila Airport Terminal 1 and 2, for those with very limited budget and the cheapest way to get there, is via the bus on EDSA with signboard MIA 611 Tambo which can be found even from Monumento end of EDSA in Caloocan City.

Getting Out of NAIA Terminal 1 and NAIA Terminal 2:
From the arrival gates, you need to walk to the road where the buses are waiting for passengers. There are direction signs posted at the gates and you can always ask the security guards or information counters at Manila Airport lounges.
These buses will take you to several bus stations on EDSA, Taft, Rotonda including Victory Liner (on other side of EDSA, you need to cross a pedestrian bridge near EDSA Tramo (Aurora Boulevard), these buses go to Olongapo City, Zambales, Baguio City), best to take a taxi going there from Manila Airport terminal), DLTB (Batangas City), Five Star, Philtranco (Bicol routes), Dimple Star, Alfonso Liner, Gold Line Transit, Genesis Transport, Celyrosa, Ceres Transport,
If you're going to to get to Manila South Harbor (South Pier 15, SuperFerrry or 2Go ferry) or Manila North Harbor (North Pier 2, 4, 6, 8, etc, Romblon Shipping Lines, Negros Navigation etc) , you can ride the bus back to EDSA and alight at LRT Taft Avenue. Ride the LRT up to Carried Station then transfer to a jeep with signboard Pier. It will drop you near the gate of Manila South Harbor.
Note:
for those with private cars looking for driving directions, there's no MMDA number coding on the roads around the NAIA terminals including: NAIA Road, Domestic road, Andrews Avenue, Sales Street, Coastal Road.
Overnight Parking rates at NAIA Terminal 1 and NAIA Terminal 2 is still PhP50.00. Day parking rates cost PhP35.00

From the arrival gates, you need to walk to the road where the buses are waiting for passengers. There are direction signs posted at the gates and you can always ask the security guards or information counters at Manila Airport lounges.
These buses will take you to several bus stations on EDSA, Taft, Rotonda including Victory Liner (on other side of EDSA, you need to cross a pedestrian bridge near EDSA Tramo (Aurora Boulevard), these buses go to Olongapo City, Zambales, Baguio City), best to take a taxi going there from Manila Airport terminal), DLTB (Batangas City), Five Star, Philtranco (Bicol routes), Dimple Star, Alfonso Liner, Gold Line Transit, Genesis Transport, Celyrosa, Ceres Transport,
If you're going to to get to Manila South Harbor (South Pier 15, SuperFerrry or 2Go ferry) or Manila North Harbor (North Pier 2, 4, 6, 8, etc, Romblon Shipping Lines, Negros Navigation etc) , you can ride the bus back to EDSA and alight at LRT Taft Avenue. Ride the LRT up to Carried Station then transfer to a jeep with signboard Pier. It will drop you near the gate of Manila South Harbor.
Note:
for those with private cars looking for driving directions, there's no MMDA number coding on the roads around the NAIA terminals including: NAIA Road, Domestic road, Andrews Avenue, Sales Street, Coastal Road.
Overnight Parking rates at NAIA Terminal 1 and NAIA Terminal 2 is still PhP50.00. Day parking rates cost PhP35.00

Fastest Option: Manila Airport taxi (fares and travel time):
Getting from one NAIA terminal 1 to Terminal 3 averages 25 minutes by taxi (if you can get a taxi right away.) This is expected to be shortened to 8 minutes once under-construction NAIA Expressway project is completed to link Sales Interchange (SLEx) to Coastal Road and the PAGCOR Entertainment City complex and even Skyway to Makati and eventually to NLEx Balintawak if Skyway Stage 3 is completed next year.
Taxi fares between terminals should cost just around PhP150.00 (about US$2.5) to PhP200.00 (metered)

Airport taxis: no taxis there but plenty of tricycles waiting for passengers. you can ride tricycles to the city center (usually minimum fare) to take buses or jeepneys to various towns of Bohol (Loboc, Loay, Anda and others)
Car rental to Panglao Island is PhP600.00, van for hire costs PhP700.00

Manila Airport (NAIA) Terminal Fee/Departure Tax Lowered to PhP550.00

This is a bit of good news at least for international travelers from Manila, five year implementation of aviation security fee at NAIA, costing PhP200.00 per outgoing foreign travel, will lapse on January 31, 2012. the
Starting February 1, 2012, NAIA Terminal Fee will be pegged at PhP550.00/person. Domestic travelers will still be charged local terminal fee of PhP200.00 per passenger.
Comforting? This month though, expect Caticlan Aiport terminal fee to be increased to PhP200.00, up from PhP20.00, as pegged by SMC, who now operates Caticlan Airport.

How to Get to Mactan-Cebu Airport:Terminal Fee, Taxi/Multicab/Jeepney

Formally known as Mactan-Cebu International Airport, is the airport destination of Tutubi about 10 years ago and has since become his most visited place outside Luzon.
Herewith is a Guide to Mactan Cebu International Airport based on accumulated "wisdom" of Tutubi, thus these tips and other information for the traveller.
For newcomers to Cebu City, herewith is map of Mactan-Cebu International Airport (browseable map by OpenStreetMap
Flights to Cebu Airport:
Cebu City is the second largest and busiest airport in the Philippines, there are many direct flights to most domestic destinations plus several international flights.
How to get out of Mactan Cebu Airport:
Coupon taxis are available at the arrival area gates with fixed taxi fare listed on a fare matrix. Yellow metered taxis are also available with PhP70.00 flagdown rate to any destination in Cebu.
Metered taxis can be flagged down by arriving passengers at the departure area. To get regular taxis, cross the street from the arrival area gate. A little to your right is a short stairway that leads to the departure area where metered taxis drop off departing passengers.
Travel time from cebu Airport to Cebu City center and downtown area is just around 30 minutes, taxi fare is around PhP200.00 to PhP300.00. Taxi drivers here are less notorious than the taxi drivers of Metro Manila.
Restaurants, Eateries, Coffee shops and duty-free shopping:
At the domestic departure area there's only one restaurant/eatery serving full rice meals (Cafe Wien) but it closes at 7pm (Tutubi learned this the hard way). For snacks, there's Fruit Magic (with teeny-weeny sandwich and pasta), Dunkin Donuts, and Coffee dream and several snack counters and pasalubong stores. Duty free shops at the international departure area.
How to get to Mactan Cebu International Airport:
Wishing to commute to Cebu Airport rather than take a cab? at the City center take multicabs going to Opon then drop of at Marina Mall. At Marina Mall look for with yellow multicabs with signboard Lapu-lapu City to Airport (LLC-PUBMARKET-MCIAA-VV).
From Mactan Cebu International Airport to the City by Public Transportation:
At the arrival area, walk towards Airport Terminal road and look for the same yellow multicabs going to marina Mall then transfer to another multicab to your destination (e.g. SM Cebu, Ayala Center, Mandaue et al).
From Cebu City onwards, suggest you go to SM City Cebu then ride jeepneys, multicabs or vhires (vans/fx) as it's a public transporation hub with lots of terminals. You can also proceed to Cebu North Bus Terminal (e.g. for bus trips to Bogo, Bantayan Island or Malapascua Island) or Cebu South Bus Terminal (e.g. Moalboal) to catch buses to your destination.
From Cebu Aiport to Moalboal (South of Cebu City)
From the aiport, ride the multicab to Marina Mall, transfer to a multicab going to Mandaue. In Mandaue, ride the jeep to One Citilink. At One Citilink, take vans going to Moalboal.

Boracay: Caticlan Airport Terminal Fee Hike in 2014

If you're a budget traveler wishing to visit at least once the famous white sand beach of Boracay you'll be paying two airport terminals to get there and out and they cost PhP220.00 at most if you're coming from the country's main airports (NAIA, Cebu, Davao) and less if you're from minor airports with cheaper airport terminal fees.
Recently, the diversifying corporate giant San Miguel Corporation, through Trans Aire Development Holdings Corp. (TAHDC), now holds the 25-year contract to rehabilitate and operate the Caticlan airport.
The Caticlan Airport terminal will be upgraded and it's runway, currently only able to accommodate propeller planes (of Cebu Pacific, Seair, ZestAir et al) will also be extended to make way for large jet airplanes including direct international flights. With these present and future improvements come at a stiff price that tourists coming to Boracay will have to pay...in 2014 that is.
How much is Caticlan Airport terminal fee now?
It's still PhP20.00, cheap and easy on the pocket.
In January 2012, it will increase to PhP200
in 2014, it will be increased to PhP500.00

To get to San Jose New Market from Puerto Princesa City center, you can ride tricycles (fare: around PhP15.00/pax) or a multicab with signboard New Market (fare: PhP12.00)
Puerto Princesa proper to Sabang jeepney fare is PhP125.00/head, travel time around 2 hours.

Manila Airport: Overnight Parking NAIA Terminal 1, 2, 3, 4 (Park N Fly Rates/Fee)

Tutubi has been passing in and out mostly in NAIA Terminal 3 due to it's terminal use by Cebu Pacific but taking a taxi pick up service at home either by MGE or EMP at dawn (in contrast with most of his peers who regularly use the expensive service of Park N Fly)
This time, he flew out of NAIA Terminal 2 (Centennial Terminal) when he was booked to fly out by Philippine Airlines (PAL) and also he didn't call a taxi at 4am but instead drove his car and parked at Car Park 2 of NAIA Terminal 2.
Here's Tutubi's take (review) of NAIA Parking based on his own experience:
He parked at Car Park 2 of NAIA Terminal 2 since it's the first one after passing through the security gate, but it's a wrong choice, he later learned. It's farther that Car Park 1, has a staircase that is difficult for those with heavy baggage in tow, unlike Tutubi with his usual backpack and camera bag that require no check-in luggage that allows him to save precious time on deplaning since there's no checked-in baggage to wait to unload on the airport baggage carousel. You also can't take the trolleys/push carts to Car Park 2 to load in your car so you either have to carry them down the stairs or get you car and go back to arrival area (if you have a companion to wait for you, same scenario if you're alone going to the departure area)
This is the previous parking fee of PhP50.00/night but now it's PhP300/night overnight parking fee which is a bit cheaper than Park N Fly rates but with minimal security besides being an open carpark)

Tutubi's Tips:
For NAIA Terminal 2, try Car Park 1 so as not to commit the same mistake as Tutubi. (For Manila Domestic Airport, the carpark is across the terminal so you either use the pedestrian overpass or risk life and limb to cross Domestic Road; for NAIA Terminal 3, there's only one carpark so you just choose the closer parking slot to the security guard post.)
If you're driving alone, you won't be able to drop your baggage at the departure area before parking. There's an escalator at the arrival area but it's always not in service so you need to haul your baggage up to the departure area. Such inconvenience!
On entering the parking lot, inform the guard at the parking entrance of your intention to park overnight. You will be handed a log book for you to write down your name contact numbers, vehicle make, plate number and destination.
Take your parking stub with you, don't leave it inside your vehicle, for security's sake.
Practice common safety and security common sense: hide all gadgets visible through the window (for Tutubi it's his Garmin GPS and iPod connected to his car's head unit (car stereo that he opted to take with him on his trip)
The car park's are all open parking style, lift your windshield wipers on hot sunny days to avoid deformation of the rubber wipers. If you park under a tree for more shade, you risk bird droppings, you may use car covers for extra protection.
If you're going there just to pick up someone, you may avail of free parking at nearby fast food restaurants or even gasoline stations then drive there only when contacted.
Finally, is it safe to park there overnight? Of course, Tutubi observed it himself for quite some time before he tried it. Lots of roaming security guards on duty and just think that it's an airport where security is really a premium.

Cebu Pacific Flights to Caticlan Diverted to Kalibo Airport

Bad news for those already booked on a Cebu Pacific flight to Caticlan to get to Boracay Island. You will find yourself landing on Kalibo Airport where you need to board a van/bus to get to Caticlan jetty port.
This flight diversion is due to the suspension of all flights to and from Caticlan airport after the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) designated it as a one-way airport.
With a one-way airport designation of Caticlan airport, take-off would always be towards the sea. It also resulted in a shortened the runway after the technical re-designation.
No latest update or news on resumption of direct flights to Caticlan. Please try to call Cebu Pacific Hotline at (02)702-0888/(032) 230-8888 or visit the website www.cebupacificair.com for more details and updates on their flights.

Bicol: Legazpi Airport Terminal Fee and Travel Guide

The airport at the foot of Mayon Volcano in Legazpi City servicing not just the province of Albay but the entire Bicol Region. It's in this airport where tourists wishing to commune with butanding (whale sharks) of Donsol, Sorsogon pass by to get to the tourist town.

Legazpi Airport Information:
Flights to Legazpi from Manila are offered by Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific and ZestAir(formerly Asian Spirit) with airline offices inside the airport compound. (guess which airline offers the cheapest flights to Legazpi?)
Legaspi Airport Terminal Fee:PhP30.00
From Legazpi Airport to your destination:
There are no taxis in Legazpi, only tricycles that can be hired for PhP50.00/trip to vans and bus terminals where you can ride vans and buses to the Albay towns of Bacacay, Nabua, Tiwi; Sorsogon City, Pilar, Donsol in Sorsogon; Naga City (Camarines Sur) and also back to Manila.
There are vans for hire available though the Legazpi Tourism officers at the airport. Tutubi was quoted a van to Donsol for PhP1500.00 good for 10 people (one way) and willing to wait in Donsol back to Legazpi. (Van to Donsol fare is currently PhP60.00/head plus the two tricycle rides: one from the airport and another to a Donsol resort ). The same V-Hire also quoted PhP2,200.00 for a six hour Legazpi City Tour covering 16 tourist spots in Albay.

To answer questions from people looking for accommodations and budget hotels near Manila Airport (officially Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA)) to stay at for those who who have to wait for connecting flights or just to be comfortable striking distance from NAIA.
Note that the word "near" is relative and needs to be defined first for it to be used in this post and will not answer questions on "how far is this hotel" from the airport kind of thing. Tutubi will just use approximate travel time, not absolute distance from the airport terminals as reference.
Guide to Sleeping at Airports or near them?
The nearest hotel to NAIA Terminal 1 (International Airport) is located inside the airport terminal, on the fourth floor Terminal 1 beside Sampaguita lounge. Each of the twelve air-conditioned hotel rooms measures 3x3 meters, with double beds and private shower and toilet and can be had a room rate of US$19.00 (about PhP840.00) for 24 hours stay.
The nearest hotels to NAIA Terminal 3 are luxury Marriott Hotel, Maxim's Hotel, Remington Hotel and Belmont condotel and the planned Hamilton Hotel inside the spanking Newport City opposite the terminal on Andrew's Avenue. It's also very near to the other airport terminals.
The nearest hotel to NAIA Terminal 2 used to be the government-owned Philippine Village Hotel but is closed indefinitely.

The nearest hotels to NAIA Terminal 3 are luxury Marriott Hotel, Maxim's Hotel, Remington Hotel and Belmont condotel and the planned Hamilton Hotel inside the spanking Newport City opposite the terminal on Andrew's Avenue. It's also very near to the other airport terminals.
The nearest hotel to NAIA Terminal 2 used to be the government-owned Philippine Village Hotel but is closed indefinitely.

A typical dawn trip of Tutubi from Quezon City to the airport takes about an hour via EDSA and costs PhP300.00 on the taxi meter fare. Metered taxi fare from the airport to Makati CBD is just around PhP150.00 (a little over US$3)

How to Get to NAIA Terminal 3: Map, Commute, Driving Directions

On a recent trip somewhere down south, Tutubi was welcomed with unexpected rain in the summertime, an event that made it hard to flag down taxis everywhere in the metro, much more at the airport when even airport taxi passenger queues got long. Faced with the dilemma and eagerness to get home as quickly as he can, he boarded the shuttle bus at the exit gate of NAIA Terminal 3 that took him to MRT in the fastest, cheapest way for PhP20.00

Herewith is updated information on commuting to NAIA Terminal 3 via the shuttle bus from NAIA Terminal 3 with a route that passes by these places:
Andrews Avenue (PAF Aerospace Museum, Shrine of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, Marriott Hotel, Maxims Hotel, Newport City, Resorts World Manila)
Airport Road
right on Roxas Boulevard (Baclaran Church, Buses to Cavite and Tagaytay via Silang)
right on EDSA (Heritage Hotel (casino filipino) LRT Taft Avenue, EDSA MRT Station, EDSA Rotonda, Metropoint Mall)
right on Aurora blvd (formerly Tramo St.) then Edwards Avenue going back to NAIA terminal 3
the shuttle bus is the safest, fastest way to get out of NAIA Terminal 3 when there are no airport taxis around nor ordinary taxis in sight or when the taxi queues are too long for your patience.
How to get to NAIA Terminal 3:
Commuting to NAIA termninal 3? from EDSA rotonda (get there via EDSA buses, jeepneys on Taft Avenue, MRT Taft Avenue Station or LRT EDSA Station), ride jeepneys going to Nichols and alight in front of NAIA Terminal 3 on Andrews Avenue. The same jeepneys also pass by the terminal going to Baclaran, EDSA Rotonda or SM Mall of Asia on your return trip.
From Cavite to NAIA Terminal 3: board buses or vans to Baclaran and alight on Roxas Boulevard at the corner of Airport road. Transfer to a jeepney going to Nichols and drop off in front of the terminal.
from Laguna, board buses going to LRT Taft Avenue. ride the LRT to EDSA avenue station (or a jeepney to EDSA/taft Rotonda). Board jeepneys going to Nichols.
From Eastwood City, Libis, Quezon City, there's Citylink bus that goes straight to Newport City via C-5.
From NAIA Terminal 3 to Bonifacio Global City, you can take Citylink bus via c5 up to Easwood Mall

From EDSA Makati, head towards Magallanes and turn left on SLEX. Turn right on the road going to Nichols (Sales Interchange), pass by Villamor Airbase gate, PAF Aerospace Museum the the terminal to your left.
From Bicol, Quezon, Batangas and Laguna, you can take Skyway from Alabang then take Airport road exit to get you there fastest. Same Skyway exit from Bicutan and Sucat (toll fee airport to bicutan is PhP50.00 starting April 20, 2011)
If you want to know how much is the overnight parking at NAIA Terminal 3, it's just PhP50.00/night (it's safe due to presence of security guards) or try the more expensive Park N' Fly service.

Flights to Baguio from Manila?

Thinking of ditching the more than 6 hour bus ride and instead fly to Baguio? Problem is there are no longer regular flights to Baguio as discussed on various blogs and websites. Asian Spirit, now called ZestAir, the only airline servicing the Manila to Baguio flight route, stopped the service due to many reasons: commercial, reliability and safety.
Most people from Metro Manila prefer the 6 to 7 hour bus ride or bring their own vehicle to visit the City of Pines high up the mountain. Baguio's Airport, called Loakan Airport, suffers from mountain weather problem i.e. flights get canceled easily when fog covers the airport which is a common occurrence. This is very unacceptable for businessmen who have no time to endure the long bus ride to Baguio.
Camp John Hay, located on Loakan Road, lies on the flight path of airplanes going to Baguio that's why Tutubi was able to get a hurried, silhouette-like (since he found no time to adjust his camera settings), shot of the airplane against the gray, cloudy sky of Baguio.
People may, however, get chartered flights to Baguio though not cheap. From Baguio Airport to the city it's easy for there are taxis waiting at the exit gate of Loakan Airport.
The nearest airport to Baguio as an alternative to Loakan airport is the newly-upgraded San Fernando Airport in La Union province but still, no commercial flights from Manila, Cebu or Davao fly to La Union airport. Asian Spirit, now ZestAir, used to fly from Manila to San Fernando but ceased offering prior to the airport upgrade. Philippine Airlines signified intentions last year to service the route but commercial operation is still not present (Tutubi tried a mock flight booking but found no flights to La Union). No news still for Cebu Pacific Airlines, SeAir or other airlines. Once flights to San Fernando Airport are offered commercially, you book flights to San Fernando then ride a bus to Baguio City. This option is best for those coming from Visayas and Mindanao. For now, only chartered flights from private companies use the airport.
