About This Blog
Flight chronicles of the backpacker Tutubi, with travelogues, pictures/photos/videos, travel guides, independent and honest reviews, affordable, recommended resorts and hotels (including inns, guesthouses, pension houses, lodges, hostels, condotels, bed and breakfast and other cheap accommodations), commuting guides, routes (sometimes street maps and GPS coordinates/waypoints) and driving directions to answer "how to get there" questions, information and tips on tourism, budget travel and living in Philippines, Exotic Asia and beyond!

Backpacking, independent travel, and flashpacking are cheaper than the "cheapest package tours" and promotional offers around but you can also use travel information for family vacations, even romantic honeymoon destinations.

More than the usual tourist spots and "places to see," this blog advocates heritage conservation, environmental protection, and history awareness for Filipinos, foreigners, and ex-pats wishing to explore Paradise Philippines and Exotic Asia!

Travel Guide Palawan: Busuanga Coron, Itinerary, How to Get There

I'll let the pictures do much of the talking

    Dateline: Ma7 27-30 2004

Calamianes group of island aerial view

    Dive Link Resort

Limestone cliffs: Palawan's geography is like that of mainland Asia and unlike the rest of the archipelago

House of a Tagbanua, the indigenous people of Palawan

Kayangan Lake: the cleanest freshwater lake in RP. Part of Tagbanua people's ancestral domain

    belle vue de la mer

Imagine this: woke up at 5am, Coral Bay, much earlier than the usual and caught sight of this spectacular sunrise before my eyes. I tried to take pictures but couldn't capture the fleeting moment I'm seeing using automatic settings of my P&S camera. I scrambled to experiment with manual settings which is still unfamiliar to me then. Luckily, I was able to get the setting to capture the vivid color of the scene.

I nearly wasn't able to capture this one!

..planning to buy Canon EOS 350D but not sure yet if its ok. Gather muna ako ng feedback about it. Mukhang bababa na price kasi meron na bagong labas.

How much is your 3OOD? Somebody recommended me to buy it in Hidalgo, Quiapo.

Dati P3k lang now P6.5k na as in sobra itinaas.

yung seminar ko saturday libre yung seminar taga-Summit media tapos heavily discounted yung accomodations and food

em, wag na coron. sa iba naman i still have to visit Samar, Leyte, Marinduque, northeastern Luzon et al. Gusto ko sana Malapascua :)
