Flight chronicles of the backpacker Tutubi, with travelogues, pictures/photos/videos, travel guides, independent and honest reviews, affordable, recommended resorts and hotels (including inns, guesthouses, pension houses, lodges, hostels, condotels, bed and breakfast and other cheap accommodations), commuting guides, routes (sometimes street maps and GPS coordinates/waypoints) and driving directions to answer "how to get there" questions, information and tips on tourism, budget travel and living in Philippines, Exotic Asia and beyond!

Backpacking, independent travel, and flashpacking are cheaper than the "cheapest package tours" and promotional offers around but you can also use travel information for family vacations, even romantic honeymoon destinations.

More than the usual tourist spots and "places to see," this blog advocates heritage conservation, environmental protection, and history awareness for Filipinos, foreigners, and ex-pats wishing to explore Paradise Philippines and Exotic Asia!

Martinez' former owner is my father's best friend. d They were forced to sell their company and migrate abroad. These buses offer the best value for your money if you wanna go up north from manila. They have airconditioned and non-airconditioned buses, take your pick. They northernmost terminal is my hometown, Candon. But if you wanna go to these following locations these buses are good too: Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Tarlac. Price range is between 50-500 pesos depending on distance. They also do "paoit" or courier service, en bulk and at extremely low prices.

this bus is good for those who want to go in the northern luzon when non airconditioned buses of philippine rabbit were diminished.

i once travel going north most specifically candon and take sta. lucia bus going there the buses are good and clean but the trip took so long because of too many stop overs and it took 20-30 mins , the 7-8 hours rip took me 10 hour to arrive candon city, hoping this feed back will help because passengers want to reach there destination the soonest possible time

we had bad experienced in sta lucia bus w/bus no.2811 last sunday(april 24,2011). we paid for aircon but unfortunately the aircon did not function. we had a 10hrs travel time going back to manila w/c we totally suffocate inside the bus..it was so heat inside the bus, no air..umpisa palang ng byahe mahina na ang aircon. pinilit pa rin i-byahe.sna i-check nyo muna yung bus nyo kung ok yung aircon before nyo ibyahe. lugi ang pasahero sa ginagawa nyo at yung hirap namin sa loob ng bus. over sa init at halos di na kami makahinga..paki refund yung binayad namin na para sa aircon kasi di naman aircon at mabuti pa ordinary bus, may hangin na lalanghap..kung di nyo i-refund irereklamo namin kayo sa lto at sa ibang ahensya..kawawa pasahero nyo.. la man lang aksyon na ginawa yung driver at conductor ng bus..kung di lang mahirap that time pabalik mla siguro lahat ng pasahero lumipat na ng bus..

Sta Lucia Express BUS 9021! Nung sumakay ako nung February 21, whoever that conductor na bastos at bingi dapat tanggalin na yan, iticket mo at pagbayarin ng mas mahal ung pasahero dahil un na ang nilagay mo, you forced them to pay that amount when it was your fault dahil mali pagkakarining mo sa place n babaan nila.Even the other passengers heard it very clear!! That's so UNFAIR!!! Hope management will give an action to this!
